Nice, heading down to San Fran. You know you could drive south to Seattle as soon as you hit Abbotsford/Sumas. You are just a few minutes north of the border at that point. Once you are on I-5 at Bellingham, you are looking at just over an hour to Seattle. So you can either drive the 1.5 ours to the Vancouver Airport, or drive south at Sumas in 1.5 hours. You won't have to deal with customs at the airport, and you can still cross the border with your birth certificate and drivers license. If you want, I could give you my sister's phone number who lives by the Seattle Airport. Just a thought.
Man, San Fran is pretty sweet. You been there before no? If you get some time, head south on the 101 and check out where our industry started. Oracle is just off of the 101, Google is in the same area, and ATI is just on the other side of the 101 from Google.
Anyways, have fun dude.
We have somewhere to park our car in Vancouver that will save us bucks.
Fan-freakin-tastic is right! Can't wait to see you and Anne in person. I'm so glad you'll be able to come.
Check in with me about cheap hotels if you want. I'm booking one soon in the conference neighborhood that should be cute but affordable.
Yeah, we really lucked out on the lodging.
